Golden Bay

Just over the mountain from Abel Tasman is the ever-so-isolated Golden Bay. Scattered amongst the curving roads and rolling hills lies a pub with sacrificed cell phones pinned to the stake, an end-of-the-world town even smaller than Ross, and a chocolate shop run out of an old couple's livingroom. We enjoyed a day of cruisin around, our cranking stereo blasting through the countryside's serene silence.

Eating fish n' chips and swimming in the nearby creek are pretty much the most happening things going on in this little slice of the world. And so we did.
