Also, wine tasting will set you back about $4 for five incredibly generous pours. Well, that was our experience (in town) on the first day.
On our second day, we opted to join Easy Rider for a wine tasting tour of the region. It included a visit to four wineries, a cheese tasting, a restaurant lunch and all transportation for just forty bucks. A steal compared to the $20+ you'd pay for a single tasting in California. Unfortunately, we got the one day of pouring rain (what's with us + wine + rain??) and the service isn't quite as generous when you're rolling in a group of 16.
I did however win a free bottle for answering a trivia question right. Woot woot.
