Ranakpur, India

Ranakpur is a tiny spec of a town in the mountainous region of Rajasthan.  We decided to stop here for a night en-route to Udaipur, to momentarily escape the city chaos and congestion.

We were greeted with cool weather, lush greenery, and a cold beer on our quiet little deck.

A visit to the remarkable nearby Jain temple was both peaceful and monkey-full.

1,444 pillars, no two alike!

And then our car broken down, again.
