Fiordland on Weed

After checking off our excersize points for the day with a walk around the lake, we went to see "Fiordland on Film". Shot mainly from a helicopter around this outrageously scenic region, it's reminiscent of BBC's Planet Earth (but with trippy music instead of a British voice-over). The guy who made the film built this theater in the 90's solely as a venue to screen it, and it has shown every day since the doors opened.

After smoking a little wacky tobacky, watching this flick on the big screen is practically a life changing experience. That's what they tell me, at least. I, personally, am passionate about filmaking, and for that reason alone decided to buy the DVD. So when we get home, you too can enjoy the cinematic excellence.
